PLANT MONITORING DEVICE AND ITS METHOD

PURPOSE:To surely find out the abnormalities of a plant in an early stage without depending on judgement made by an operator. CONSTITUTION:The historical data base 6 is provided, which stores both the time series data of set values for a plant from the past to the present and the time series data of the operation quantities of the plant from the past to the present. The time series data within the historical data base 6 is taken out by a process analyzing mechanism 7, and the coefficient of correlation between each set value and each operation quantity is computed, and it is judged based on the coefficient of correlation whether or not the plant is in operation normally, so that the result is thereby indicated on a CRT 9.
