<p>PURPOSE: To provide a gaseous fuel carburetor which allows clean combustion and high efficiency operation in the entire range of engine load and speed. CONSTITUTION: An air/gaseous fuel proportioning device includes an air inlet 11, a fuel inlet 31, an outlet 12 to feed an air fuel blend to an engine. A disc- shaped tilt fuel valve 21 resting in a conical bore 21 in this fuel inlet 31 follows an air butterfly valve 14 in the air inlet 11 with a linkage, performs tilting motion following the air butterfly valve, and provides an open area between the disc and conical bore that relates proportionally to the air flow past the air butterfly valve.</p> |
