PURPOSE:To improve the reliability and precision for detecting the full fill of waste toner and improve the operability for maintenance. CONSTITUTION:A transparent section 16 is provided at the lower section of a waste toner recovery section 15, the absence of waste toner is directly detected by a photo-sensor 18 through the transparent section 16, and a counter is reset by this detection. The number of image formation is counted by the counter, when the count value reaches a fixed value, the proximity to the full fill of the waste toner is reported. |
