Electrode gap setting for underwater lithotripsy spark generation - involves application of two tools for constrained plastic deformation of wire hoops which carry upper electrode
摘要
The distance (a) between upper and lower sparking points is adjusted by deformation of the hoops (5) of e.g. Cu wire or rod upon which the upper electrode (2) is supported. To carry out the deformation, an upper tool (11) is pressed against the top of the electrode (2) and its hoops (5) while the latter are restrained by a cylindrical lower tool (12), introduced to prevent their vertical sections from becoming bent under pressure from the tool (11). ADVANTAGE - Reliable adjustment is made by plastic deformation of hoop section in axial direction.
