摘要 A gas-filled photocell, on which the radiation is incident, is operated with pulsed voltage in the self-sustaining glow discharge region. The voltage produces a periodic trigger pulse duration, during which the applied voltage is greater than or equal to the ignition voltage. Discharge voltages are thus produced when a photoelectric emission occurs as a result of photons arriving at the photocathode. The ratio of the average discharge pulse duration to the trigger pulse duration is determined as an indicator of radiation intensity. This ratio is less than 1. USE - Suitable for disinfecting system to ensure that disinfection is actually carried out over defined area.
