PURPOSE:To provide a freezing brushing device which performs high-efficient polishing of a work. CONSTITUTION:A freezing brushing device comprises a freezing chamber 2, the interior of which is frozen to temperature lower than the brittle temperature of a shaft-form body 13, a pair of precooling chambers 3 and 4 formed adjacently to the inlet side and the outlet side of the freezing chamber 2 and frozen to temperature higher than that of the freezing chamber 2, conveyors 11 and 12 to convey the shaft-form body 13 from the one precooling chamber 3 side to the other precooling chamber 4 side through the freezing chamber 2, and a polishing brush 18 and a regulating wheel 19 conveyed by a conveyor, mounted in the freezing chamber 2, and polishing the shaft-form body 13, supported in a centerless manner by a support plate 17, in a state to nip the shaft-form body therebetween. |
