<p>PURPOSE:To print a bar code of a (n+0.5)P unit using a thermal head of a heating element pitch P and a resin type thermal transfer ink ribbon. CONSTITUTION:A line thermal head having a large number of heating elements 10 arranged thereto at a definite pitch P is used and (n+1) wherein n is a positive integer) heating elements 10 are allotted to the parts NB, WB corresponding to the bars of a bar code and (n) heating elements 10 are allotted to the parts NS, WS corresponding to spaces. By generating heat from the heating elements allotted to the parts B corresponding to bars while suppressing the energy applied to the line thermal head 1, bars and spaces each having width of (n+0.5)P are drawn.</p> |
