PURPOSE:To reduce the energy consumption of a portable part driven by a battery and to make the individually selective call receiver compact and light in weight as well at the individually selective call receiver to receive a signal to individually call a person while being carried by the person. CONSTITUTION:The individually selective call receiver is divided into a pager plate 1 and a messager 5. The pager plate 1 constitutes the portable part, is equipped with only the call function of an LED 2 or an ID code memory, etc., and is driven by the battery. The messager 5 is provided to display a message in the case of inserting the pager plate 1 to an inserting port 6 and driven by an AC or DC power source through a power source plug 3. Since the pager plate 1 of the portable part is equipped with only the call function, energy consumption is reduced and the service life of the battery can be prolonged. |
