PURPOSE:To improve an S/N in a digital signal processing part (DSP) by providing an input/output characteristic selecting part at a dynamic range compressing means. CONSTITUTION:A dynamic range compressing means 100 is composed of a level detection part 102 for input signals, input/output characteristic selection part 105 to select the input/output characteristic of the compressing means 100 according to the information of a sound quality change amount from a sound quality control means 112 and a control signal from a noise detecting means 140, coefficient generation part 104 to calculate the set value of gain between inputting and outputting according to information from the level detection part 102 and the input/output characteristic selection part 105, and gain variable part 101 to change the gain according to the set value. Thus, when increasing a signal level at a sound quality variable part 110, the compressibility of the compressing means 100 is enlarged corresponding to the increased amount, and the overflow of signals at the output of a DSP 106 can be prevented. Therefore, the signal processing level in the DSP can be set high even in any sound quality variable state, and the S/N can be improved. |
