The chamber consists of a flexible wall (16) between upper and lower circular rigid elements (10,18) linked by vertical supports (32). The flexible wall can be raised to give access to the chamber, and is fixed to the base by sealed coupling elements, e.g. with an inflatable joint (36) which makes contact with a non-stretch strip (26) a round the lower edge of the wall.
