摘要 The throughput measurement cell for the precise measurement of the electrical conductivity of a liquid electrolyte has a central part consisting of a wider tube (3) connected to a narrower one (1). The measurement section consisting of the narrower tube is defined in its electrical function by pick-up electrodes. An upper electrode is at the tube transition point in a low electric field strength region with its surface in the plane of an equipotential surface formed when a constant a.c. current passes via an electrode (4) in the wider tube to a lower electrode (5). A voltage drop across the wider tube is tapped between two electrodes (2, 12) forming the connection between two low field strength regions and lying approximately on equipotential surfaces arising when field lines arise from the voltage difference between two electrodes (4, 5).
