The use of pyridoxine derivs. (A), or their salts, for preventing or treating hyperlipidaemia and atherosclerosis is new. Use of pyridoxine-5'-phosphate glutamate and aspartate is excluded. (A) is pyridoxal; pyridoxal phosphate; pyridoxamine and/or pyridoxamine phosphate, opt. formulated with normal carrier and auxiliaries and opt. with other active ingredients for treating hyperlipidaemia, artherosclerosis and/or related disorders.
