PURPOSE:To distinguish only a registeration mark from registeration marks and other marks formed or a plate cylinder to confirm the same. CONSTITUTION:The lengths of the image line part and non-image line part on the same circumference where respective marks 11, 12 of a plate cylinder 10 are present are detected and, when the lengths d1, d2 of the non-image line parts before and after the image line part are within a predetermined range, the image line part is discriminated as a registeration mark. |
