<p>PURPOSE:To reduce waste time by reducing effect caused by a transient response in switching over to decompression from pressurization following the stoppage of the pressurization. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is made up of a pressure cuff and bag 1 for pressing a vital artery, a pump 2 for pressurizing the pressure cuff and bag 1 and a pressure sensor 5 for detecting a pressure in the pressure cuff and bag 1. A high pass filter housed in MPU 8 in provided to extract a high-frequency component area selectively and partially from among pulse components overlapped on a cuff and bag pressure signal detected with the pressure sensor 5. In addition, a fine rate exhaust valve 4 is arranged to reduce the pressure of the pressure cuff and bag after the end of the pressurization and a blood pressure determining means housed in MPU 8 to determine a blood pressure based on a cuff and bag pressure and a pulse signal in the process of reducing the pressure of the pressure cuff and bag.</p> |
