PURPOSE:To provide a data recording medium obtained by forming a strong data recording layer imparting high image density, subsceptible to high speed recording and having a white background and good color reproducibility on the surface of a polyester film, satisfying a demand generating no curl and capable of being recorded using both of aqueous ink and oily ink. CONSTITUTION:In a data recording medium wherein a data recording layer is provided to the surface of a polyester film, the data recording layer is characterized by that it is the minute grain layer of polyester formed to the surface of the polyester film and the minute grain layer is one formed by immersing the polyester film in a first solvent being the strong solvent thereof and subsequently immersing the same in a second solvent being the weak solvent thereof and having an affinity for the first solvent. |
