<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the process for production of the air cleaning compsn. which cleans polluted air contg. malodorous gases as represented by NH3, H2S, etc. CONSTITUTION:Iron or a mixture composed of the iron and iron oxide or the iron, the iron oxide and an iron compd. and tannic acid or gallic acid or a mixture composed thereof are brought into reaction in an aq. soln. state and the mixture is adjusted pH>=5; thereafter, powder of a sulfide is added and mixed to and with this aq. soln. This aq. soln. is mixed with water at a ratio of 0.05 to 1mol/l iron component and 0.05 to 1mol/l content of the tannic acid or gallic acid calculated in terms of the gallic acid. The aq. soln. is brought into reaction by raising the temp. of the water to >=80 deg.C. The amt. of the sulfide to be added to the aq. soln. is adjusted to 0.02 to 0.5 molar ratio as the content of the sulfur component based on the content of the iron component after cooling.</p> |
