<p>The method produces packing material from brittle natural material, which is mixed, with glue sprayed onto it. Ligno-cellulose particles such as straw form the main ingredient, while the glue is hot-melting, or watery and activated by heating. The mixture is then compressed in a die. The proportions take the form of 2-30 parts glue to 100 parts straw. Compression is carried out so that the plate or moulding formed has an air content of more than 50 percent by weight.</p> |
