PATTERN CONVERSION SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To send a Chinese character pattern to a facsimile equipment differing in data format by converting the Chinese character pattern stored in the main memory of an electronic computer into a code used for facsimile transmission. CONSTITUTION:A Chinese character pattern stored in memory circuit 11 and a compressed code converted are supplied to longitudinal-lateral converting circuit 12 under the control of control circuit 15 to convert data of longitudinally prescribed bytes into data of laterally prescribed bytes and data converted under every shift command is outputted from circuit 15. Counting circuit 13 is initialized by a signal from circuit 15 to count black-and-white bits and compressing circuit 14 converts data from circuit 15 into random compressed code and then outputs it by prescribed bits. Further, expanding circuit 16 expands the original pattern under the external command and control of circuit 15. Then, the pattern in memory circuit 11 is converted into a code used for facsimle transmission, so that the Chinese character pattern can be transmitted to a facsimile equipment differing in data format.
