PURPOSE:To prevent abrupt change of an operating state and to stabilize an operation by increasing one of a diameter of a connecting tube for connecting a heat source to an indoor unit larger than that of the other, and feeding a low pressure side to a large diameter side in a predetermined direction without depending upon switching of condensing and evaporating by a switching valve. CONSTITUTION:A repeater E having first, second branch units 10, 11, a gas/ liquid separator 12, second - fourth flowrate controllers 13, 15, 17, etc., is provided between first and second connecting tubes 6 and 7 for connecting a heat source A having compressors 1, 6, a six-way switching valve 2, a heat exchanger 3, and an accumulator 4, to indoor units B-D. The valve 2 is switched to switch condensing-evaporating of the exchanger 3 and to simultaneously switch the tubes 6, 7, and the first tube having a larger diameter is always used at a low pressure side. Accordingly, a pressure loss of the low pressure side is reduced, and a decrease in room cooling capacity can be prevented. |
