The method produces a packet of covers for a water-closet seat which are then mounted in a holder on the latter. A packet of sheets is formed, with a bottom cardboard supporting sheet (2) if desired. Eyes are then punched (4) in the packet, from which a stack or covers is then cut or stamped out (D). The sheet offcuts are finally removed. Two cores can be punched out near one edge of the cover at the forward edge of the seat, at 5mm, or less from the edge, and spaced apart for 80mm.
