A nonaqueous liquid dishwashing composition containing a binary mixture of a protease enzyme and an amylase enzyme wherein said dishwashing composition comprises in percent by weight: <IMAGE> the liquid carrier being selected from higher glycols, polyglycols, polyoxides and glycol ethers, and the free water content being less than about 6 percent by weight.
