PURPOSE:To ensure the easy assembly, wiring and maintenance works of a lighting fixture by enabling a lamp lit on a commercial power supply to be assembled into a lighting fixture body suitably sized for mounting on an embedded box used for a single fixture. CONSTITUTION:A lamp freely lighting on a commercial power supply and a dimmer means 5 to keep the lit lamp in a dimmed condition at all times, are housed in a lighting fixture body 1 suitably sized for mounting on an embedded box used for a single fixture. Also, an intermediate cover 7 having a lamp mounting section 8 as an integral part is used to separate a power supply section 3 in the body 1 from the lamp mounting section 8. In lighting state, the lamp is always kept in a dimmed condition by means of the dimmer means 5. The amount of generated heat, therefore, is reduced and no measures against heat are required, even if the lamp is built into the body 1. Also, the lamp mounting section 8 is formed as an integral part of the intermediate cover 7 and, therefore, the quantity of parts can be reduced, thereby ensuring the compact design of a lighting fixture, and the easy assembly, wiring and servicing works thereof. |
