PURPOSE:To prevent position deviation of a picture and a tilt by copying a picture of facing pages of original such as a book on both front and rear sides of transfer paper (recording medium) together with the front and rear covers in the order of pages. CONSTITUTION:The machine is provided with a controller 10 controlling the designation of an original picture read area read by a picture read means 6 to an area of a 1/transfer magnification of a recording medium size toward an original scale being a reference position when an original is set while a facing page original key 7 to give a command of copying a facing original to both front and rear sides of the transfer paper is turned off or while the key is turned on and no transfer paper whose one side is formed of a picture is stacked to a double side paper feed means 9, and when the front paper is copied while the original is set along the original scale, the read area for the pages is read at once and when facing pages are copied, the picture for both the pages is read at once to transfer the picture respectively onto both pages of the transfer paper without causing a position deviation respectively. Moreover, the picture is transferred without stacking transfer paper to the double side paper feed means. |
