The air supply registers are fitted with vertical double curtains which hang from ceiling to the floor. The material is assembled such that air fills the space between the curtain layers to form a tube with air transparency at the required elevations. Air is thus directed into the air conditioned space at a level which provides the most effective circulation between hot and cool air. The system operates effectively with low air velocities since air stratification in the subject space is eliminated.
