PURPOSE:To perform the separation of a runner at a connection base between the runner and casting articles in an accurate manner, by installing a sawing device in one side of base blocks. CONSTITUTION:A supporting angle is adjusted so as to cause a cutting plane line 53 of a work 50 to become the same direction as that of a saw blade 40, while the work is firmly supported on a holding plate 30. A slider 10 is traversed to some extent whereby a supporting position of the cutting plane line 53 is adjusted right to the saw blade 40. Each of slide bases 3 and 4 is slidden in the vertical direction, making the work into its longitudinal feed together with the slider 10, then the saw blade 40 is applied to the cutting plane line 53, and further the longitudinal feed continues, thus cutting takes place. Each casting article separated by this cutting operation is discharged outside. |
