<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a shock at the time of suddenly releasing an accelerator pedal during the slip control of a lock up clutch. CONSTITUTION:When an accelerator pedal is suddenly released during the slip control of a lock up clutch, the lock up clutch is rapidly engaged in general and engine output is rapidly propped to generate a high shock. Therefore, in such a case (YES in Step 240), the engine output is gradually decreased (Steps 250-350), and the slip control of the lock up clutch is continued for a predetermined period (Step 330).</p> |
