A housing (5),contg.the self-locking wedge lock sits tight on the support column (1) and has a central opening (3) which centres the standard attachment (4) longitudinally in the column. A transverse opening (8) extends radially from the central opening and has two sections (8.1,8.2) which are separated along a wedge face (16) inclined to the direction of movement of the standard attachment. Together they contain a locking member (9) which consists of a wedge section (10) facing the standard attachment,a neck section (11) on the outside of the housing, and a bolt (12, 12.1, 12.2,13) which is displaceable in a bore (14), passing through the wedge and neck sections across the standard attachment. The wedge section is displaceable along the wedge face in the cross opening (8) together with the neck section. ADVANTAGE - Simple mfr.,easy and reliable operation,and automatic centring. |
