PRODUCTION OF RESIN FELT BY THERMOFORMING

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain lightweight low-density parts of sound insulating material by compressing a fleece formed under a specific condition into given thickness and heating and press forming the fleece by a die of arbitrary shape. CONSTITUTION:Animal or plant fibers or synthetic resin fibers are mixed with a binder resin, passed through a spiked drum 4 and a form sucking drum 5 rotating in the opposite direction of the spiked drum to form a fleece. The fleece is compressed by a compressor 7 into 40-80mm, made into a semicured state with heated steam and press formed under heating by a die.
