PURPOSE:To provide the optical recording medium which is small in crosstalks even if a track pitch is diminished and is allowable to be high densed by providing parts of a low reflectivity on the reflection layer of the optical recording medium having a substrate, a recording layer laminated thereon and the reflection layer so as to obviate the reproduction of the unnecessary signals from the adjacent tracks. CONSTITUTION:The recording layer 20 is formed as sufficiently thin as to allow the transmission of light. The reflection layer 22 is removed to a band shape in a track direction at a prescribed width. Of laser beams 40, most of the beams cast to a part of the adjacent bits transmit the recording layer 20 without reflection at all and, therefore, the crosstalks are extremely decreased. |
