PURPOSE:To extremely stably obtain a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet excellent in magnetic properties. CONSTITUTION:At the time of heating a silicon-contg. steel slab to >=1400 deg.C and thereafter executing hot rolling, in the stage of rough rolling therein, at first, 20 to 50% draft is applied in the state where the temp. from the central part of the rolled stock to the 2/5 layer of the steel thickness is held to >=1350 deg.C, and furthermore, in the final stage of the rough rolling, 10 to 5% draft is applied in the state where the temp. from the central part to the 2/5 layer of the steel thickness is regulated to >=1250 deg.C as well as the temp. from the surface to the 1/5 layer of the sheet thickness is regulated to <=1200 deg.C. |
