PURPOSE:To provide a process for imparting a cellulosic fiber product with softness and luster resistant to washing and dry-cleaning. CONSTITUTION:A cellulosic fiber product is treated with a processing agent solution containing (A) a resin reactive with cellulose, (B) a catalyst, (C) an ampholytic surfactant, (D) a blocked aminosilicone resin and (E) at least one kind of resin selected from acrylate resin and methacrylate resin, dried, pressed with a hot roll under a pressure of 50-80kg/cm<2> while keeping the speed ratio of the upper hot roll to the lower roll to 1.0-2.0 to 1 and finally heat-treated at 150-180 deg.C. The woven fabric having further improved luster can be produced by adding (F) an animal-originated polymer having an isoelectric point of 4.7-5.1 (alkali-treated gelatin, enzyme-treated water-soluble gelatin or carboxymethyl- modified chitin) in addition to the above components A to E. |
