PURPOSE:To obtain such resonance effect that only a desired frequency component is emphasized by generating a resonance signal by a resonance effect adding means composed by combining plural band-pass filters and adders. CONSTITUTION:A musical sound signal (g) from a proper sound source G such as a pulse source, an FM sound source, and a PCM sound source for an impulse or pulse train is supplied to the resonance effect adding means E including the band-pass filters #1-#n BPFs and adders #1-#k ADDs. Then a resonance signal (e) given variation determined according to how those band-pass filters #1-#n BPFs and adders #1-#k ADDs are combined and their characteristics is outputted. Further, distorting means such as limiters which distort the signals are provided in the band-pass filters BPFs of the resonance effect adding means E to increase harmonics, thereby enabling diverse sound generation. |
