CONSTITUTION:A detecting device for a residual quantity of recording sheet comprises a magnet 4 fixed on a position to which a recording sheet storing plate 2 rocked or elevated according to the decrease of recording sheet P, moves, and a magnetic sensor 10, which is provided in a position where the magnet 4 approaches to or departs from in compliance with the rocking or the elevation of the recording sheet loading plate, and detects the magnetic field of the magnet 4 based on the detected output of the magnetic sensor 10.</p> |
