摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To control the output current vector directly relating to the magnetic flux and generated torque of the induction motor to a desired value by controlling the current using the amplitude component and the phase component of the output current. CONSTITUTION:The instantaneous values of the respective phase currents supplied to a polyphase induction motor 1 from a cyclo converter 2 are detected by a current detector 7, the detected values are inputted through phase converter 60 to a vector detector 61, where the amplitude component and the phase component of the supplied current are formed. The amplitude of the output power of the respective phases of the cyclo converter 2 is controlled by the control circuit 63 so that the amplitude component i1 becomes equal to the amplitude component, and the phase of the output voltage of the respective phases of the cyclo converter 2 is controlled by the control circuit 67 so that the phase component becomes equal similarly to the phase component. Since the amplitude and the phase components of the output current can be independently controlled in this manner, the output current can be controlled to set amplitude and phase in high frequency band.</p>
