<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject product made of a plastic sheet containing a silver ion-containing dissolvable glass capable of gradually eluting the silver ions, having no fear to cause the deterioration and poisoning of foods and capable of being safely used and readily handled after used. CONSTITUTION:The objective product formed of a plastic sheet containing a silver ion-containing dissolvable glass capable of gradually eluting the silver ions. The method for adding the silver ion-containing dissolvable glass into the plastic sheet includes a method comprising mixing a thermally melted thermoplastic resin with the silver ion-containing and dissolvable glass by the use of a Banbury mixer, etc., blending the produced master batch with a thermoplastic resin and subsequently extruding the blended product into the sheet by a T die method, etc. The silver-containing dissolvable glass is preferably added into the material of the plastic sheet as fine particles of <=50mum.</p> |
