<p>PURPOSE:To prevent increase in the number of wires to be inserted inside a balustrade accompanying increase in the number of lighting pipes for the balustrade for an escalator which makes wiring work difficult. CONSTITUTION:Balustrades 4 are provided on both sides of a main frame 1 of an escalator and a plurality of lighting made of lighting pipes 6 are arranged in the longitudinal direction under a deck board of this balustrade 4. In an upper machine room 1A of the main frame 1, a single high-frequency power source generator 12 for feeding electricity to each of the plural lighting are installed instead of a plurality of ballasts.</p> |
