PURPOSE:To provide a current lead which can eliminate thermal load reduction readily and surely during de-energized period. CONSTITUTION:Current leads 1a, 1b which are used for electrically connecting superconductive magnet 3 which is cooled and held at an extremely low temperature and a power supply in a room temperature and for exciting the superconductive magnet 3 to a permanent current mode or for demagnetizing time permanent, current mode. The current leads 1a, 1b are composed of low purity copper such as brass, cupronickel, phosphor bronze. During short energization such as excitation to a permanent current mode or demagnetization from the permanent current mode of a superconductive magnet, temperature rise can be restrained extremely lower and stabler than in steady state. |
