PURPOSE:To provide the automatic performance device which has an orchestral accompaniment function for the singing of a song with an accompaniment sound and its marking function and is suitable for the intellectual training for infants. CONSTITUTION:The automatic performance device which has a storage means 13 stored with accompaniment data and melody data and a musical sound generating means 19 generating a musical sound according to the storage contents of the storage means 13 is composed of a converting means 23 which converts a voice into a voice signal, a comparing means 14 which compares the sound volume value of the voice signal converted by the converting means 23 with a sound volume value corresponding to sound volume information included in the melody data successively and accumulates and stores the result, and an annunciating means 22 which annunciates information corresponding to the comparison result accumulated and stored in the comparing means 14.
