发明名称 CONTROL METHOD OF AIR SEPARATOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance the collection rate by installing a concentration controller for a specific component contained in a feed gas supplied to a coarse argon tower from the top of a main refining tower and controlling an outlet bypass valve based on its concentration in a low temperature air separator which collects argon. CONSTITUTION:Air in an air heat exchanger 1 exchanges heat with return gas from a main refining tower A. After it is cooled, it is blown into a lower tower 2 of the main refining tower A, where it is refined and separated into liquid nitrogen at the top and liquid air at the bottom. The liquid nitrogen and liquid air are supplied to an upper tower 3, but a part of the liquid air is supplied to a concentrator of a coarse Argon tower 4 where the feed gas from the upper tower 3 is liquefied. An expansion turbine 5 is driven by a part of the raw material air cooled by the air heat exchanger 1. The air from the expansion turbine 5 is blown into the upper tower 3 where it is refined and separated. A part of the air flows through an outlet bypass valve 7 and made to enter a waste nitrogen piping line from the upper tower 3. The outlet bypass valve 7 is automatically controlled according to the outlet of a concentration controller 9 which monitors the concentration of argon.
