摘要

PURPOSE:To retrieve image data from the point of time when it is stored in an image storage device for a short period storing provided for an image management device even before it is stored in an image storage device for a long period storing. CONSTITUTION:The image management device 105 stores image data transferred into a system in MD(an image storage device for a short period storing) 112 and transmits the image attribute information to an image attribute information data base 101 as a resistering demand 404. The image attribute information data base 101 registers an image attribute information 401 whose storing storage device volume name 203 is an MD volume name to an image attribute information table 202. It becomes possible at this point of time (at the point of time before information is stored in the image storage device for a long period storing) to retrieve the information at the image attribute information data base 101. Thus, it becomes possible to retrieve the image data with an image work station.
