PURPOSE:To provide the document preparing device which can easily delete unused new words by displaying the number of times for using the registered hew words to be recognized for a user in the case of deleting the new words. CONSTITUTION:At the document preparing device equipped with a function to register the new words selected by the user for being used in the case of Japanese syllabary (KANA)/Chinese character (KANJI) conversion on a dictionary and to delete the arbitrary registered new words from the dictionary, a frequency information collecting means (corresponding to long-term learning control 2-2 and a storage device 4) is provided to collect the use frequency information of the new words registered on the dictionary, a table generating means (corresponding to signal deletion guide control 2-4) is provided to prepare the list of the registered new words by rearranging the new words in the dictionary in a prescribed order based on the frequency information collected by this frequency information collecting means, and a display means (corresponding to signal deletion guide control 2-4 and a display 6) is provided to display the list of the registered new words prepared by the table preparing means in the case of deleting the registered new words in the dictionary. |
