PURPOSE:To make the processing cartridge and the image forming device compact by loading a service life detection means accurately detecting the service life of the processing cartridge regardless of its simple and space saving structure. CONSTITUTION:In the processing cartridge K, a photosensitive drum 10, developing device 11, electrifying device 12, and a cleaning device 13 are provided inside cartridge containers 14a and 14b. The cartridge is used while being mounted freely attachably/detachably on the device main body. Furthermore, the service life detection means provided with a counter bar 31 and a pressing spring 32 is installed. Because the counter bar 31 is pressed on the photosensitive drum 10 by the pressing spring 32, the sliding surface is gradually abraded in proportion to the number of rotation of the photosensitive drum 10. Thus, since the whole of the counter bar is moved and varied toward the photosensitive drum 10, by acknowledging the distance of movement of the counter bar, whether the number of rotation of the photosensitive drum has reached the number of rotation for the service life can be accurately known. |
