PURPOSE:To detect the directions of the input accelerations of two shafts crossing each other at a right angle and the absolute values thereof. CONSTITUTION:A mass part 21 is fixed to a support part 24 by first and second hinge parts 22, 23 and the center G1 of gravity of the mass part and the centers G2, G3 of gravity of both hinge parts are positioned on the bisector 27 of the mass part and the center G1 of gravity is shifted from the centers G2, G3 of gravity in an X-direction. When the input of acceleration is in the X-direction, the mass part 21 is parallel displace and both hinge parts 22,23 are bent and, when the input of acceleration is in a Y-direction, the mass part 21 is revolved and both hinge parts 22,23 are twisted. The resistance values of strain detecting resistance elements R1-R4, R5-R8 mounted on both hinge parts 22,23 change corresponding to said bending or twist and acceleration is obtained from the change direction and quantity thereof. |
