PURPOSE:To provide an operation confirming method for an on-vehicle equipment having a security function capable performing-function inspection of the on-vehicle equipment having the security function and the security function capable of the relevant inspection effectively with a simple method in the case of executing the function inspection. CONSTITUTION:The operation confirming method is realized for the on-vehicle equipment having a security function composed of a process using a key 2 provided on the on-vehicle equipment 1 to input a command in the case of confirming the function operation of the on-vehicle equipment 1 having the security function, the process using an arithmetic means 4 provided on the on-vehicle equipment 1 to discriminate the inputted command, the process to operate a switch 6 and a timer 5 provided on the on-vehicle equipment when an input command is coincident with a prescribed command, the process to execute a program inspecting the function of the on-vehicle equipment during the operation of the timer, and the process stopping the switching operation when a prescribed time set by the timer elapses. |
