PURPOSE:To obtain images in high gradation without streaks and unevenness by a method wherein a recording head is so arranged that an array of nozzles thereof becomes slant against scanning lines, and one pixel is formed by ejection of a plurality of ink droplets ejected respectively from different ejection ports. CONSTITUTION:The scanning direction over a material 2 on which recording is made and the arrangement direction of ink ejection ports of a recording head 101 are set at a specified angle, being not in parallel with each other. Under such condition, the recording is executed by making the material 2 on which the recording is made and the recording head 101 make relative movement so that ink droplets are ejected from each of the ink ejection ports of the recording head 101 to one pixel. Thereby images in high gradation without streaks and unevenness can be obtained even though there is nonuniformity among characteristics of respective ink ejection ports. |
