PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic toner having proper magnetic force, capable of accurate recognition of a magnetic reading sign with MICR, ensuring satisfactory dispersibility of a magnetic body, hardly causing the exfoliation of the magnetic body even by friction with a magnetic head at the time of magnetic reading and having excellent environmental stability. CONSTITUTION:This magnetic toner is composed essentially of a binding resin and a magnetic body. The residual magnetization (sigmarm) of the magnetic body is 7-24, the residual magnetization (sigmart) of the toner is >4.2-7, the amt. W of the magnetic body in the toner is 30-70wt.% and the fine powder of the magnetic body has been heat-treated. |
