PURPOSE:To provide a copying machine capable of protecting recording medium driving devices from harmful atmosphere and incorporating the devices in a casing. CONSTITUTION:In order to protect the recording medium driving devices 6 and 7 from harmful atmosphere such as dust and magnetic field generated from a developing means 15, not air and oil mist generated form a fixing means 19 and ozone generated from various types chargers 14 and 17, the recording medium driving devices 6 and 7 are incorporated in the casing 1 apart from an exhaust fan 27, the developing means 15 or a fixing means 19, etc., where harmful atmospheres are collected. Further, opening parts are formed on covers which cover the recording medium driving devices 6 and 7, and a cooling fan for indroduing outside air and a filter are mounted on the opening parts. |
