PURPOSE:To accurately and speedily set an original to an original platen by providing a movable and rotatable transparent plate where section paper reference lines are drawn and a projection mechanism below an original setting surface. CONSTITUTION:An optical member 8 such as a lens, the glass or transparent film 7 where the section lines are drawn, and a standard light source 6 are provided below the original setting part 2. The light from the standard light source 6 passes through the glass or transparent film 7 to project an image of the section lines on the document pasted surface. The glass or transparent film 7 is rotated by a specified angle. The image of the section lines is projected on the original setting part 2 first, the angle is specified when necessary, and the original is set according to the section lines. Then the original name and a trimming area is inputted by a menu picture 3 and the original setting part 2. Further, setup information on a scanner is inputted from the menu panel 3. |
