<p>PURPOSE:To provide an electric field measuring device capable of measuring the field intensity with high sensitivity and high precision concurrently via the light modulation method and light differential method. CONSTITUTION:An electric field measuring device has a laser generator 11, a light chopper 22b chopping the light signal outputted from the laser generator 11, and a half-mirror 12c dividing the light signal modulated by the light chopper 22b into light signals of two paths 16b, 16c. Polarizers 24a, 24b, analyzers 26a, 26b and light detectors 13a, 13b arranged on the light signal paths 13a, 13b respectively and a lock-in amplifier 14 amplifying the electric signals outputted from the light detectors 13a, 13b synchronously with the frequency of the light chopper 22b are provided, and a Pockels element 27 is arranged between the polarizer 24a and analyzer 26a of the light signal path 16b.</p> |
