The present invention relates to a device making it possible to roll up a strap, a band, a strip, or another filamentary object. One of the parts of the device serves as a support which can be attached, placed or held. The other, which is removable, entrains the strap, through a split tube, in rotation about a shaft (axis) fastened on the support. Application, in particular, for winding up a strap serving for securing goods during transportation, before their storage.
